Hidey Hole for our school
We needed a place to upload pictures files etc that we don’t always want everyone to see. So I made us a google group site instead of the usual yahoo group site I attach to my projects. I decided to try them out for a change to see if they work as well as the yahoo equivalents. It’s always a good idea to have a back up or replacement for anything you use on line. The link to use is http://groups.google.com/group/on-linesuper-hero-school? I have it locked down from automatic joining and it isn’t listed in any google directory. But obviously I’ll sign up anyone who is a part of our school. Just be sure and identify yourself so I’ll know it’s you when signing up. After you get in you have the option of changing what name appears to what you are using on the rest of the school site, if your google name is different for some reason. let me know weather or not you think I should add it to the school's site index

Greetings,
Here is an idea for you, whenever you create a webpage, create a site to act as a layer to manage the file storage. That way, it will help with bandwith load. That way also it would be harder to hack, since people would have to hack that site too. You could also make the site to especially monitor the free webpages like the site tracker page. You could make a template of this site to save you time.
