Retirement etc
Hey guys, I was just wondering if there was a site for the retired RLSH, and maybe a memorial Site for the fallen RLSH?

Re: Retirement etc
I’m not aware of one off hand. But that doesn’t mean we can’t make one once we have the needed information to do it properly. If we do make one I tend to see it as a stand alone site so all can link to it and have it include something like a guest book so visitors can add their personal remembrances of the folks featured there. The closest I know of presently is the memorial page that’s a part of superman group1. The main link there is http://supermangroup1.r8.org so you can go see the format I used there to list fallen members of that group.

That a good site, It's just I've heard of at least one rlsh in america who is deceased, and several retired rlsh, and if it didn't exist already I was thinking of puting up a Rlsh Memorial site, and if we have a place we can put it, we could maybe put a proper memorial up too, though we could just stick with the site, let me know what you think

Not sure what if any physical location in the real world would be appropriate. You’ll run into the same hassles as a meeting place or training center. Accessibility. If and when we have a real world location for an all group meeting place or RLSH museum that would be the logical place for the physical memorial as well. Now as far as an on line memorial goes I still favor a stand alone one not directly affiliated with any 1 group. One all groups can include a banner link to if so inclined. No sense hurting the feelings of any group when the purpose would be to respect fallen and retired comrades from all groups. One of the things I teach is how to make a stand-alone site on free space. Between the 2 of us we could probably get a good start on it getting suggestions as to what to include from a variety of sources. BTW I used my admin status to slap a picture on your profile till you get time to pick one yourself. Hope you like it.

Or we could add another section to the site.

Re:Retirement etc
Another valid point, however some of the heroes work alone therefore we won't always get acurate info

Re: Retirement etc
Adding a section to this site or any other specific hero site would defeat the premise that it’s a memorial site for all heroes. That’s why it needs to stand-alone. Once we make a memorial site we post about it and provide the banner link so all sites that want to can link to it. That will help to keep intergroup politics out of it. Sad to say some hero groups squabble worse than small kids do. That’s the last thing a memorial for all needs.
