I like the principal behind it but the google earth for my area is 5-7 years or more out of date. I zoomed in on where I live and the pics while accurate seem to be 10 years or more old.

It is potentially very useful. And when they did street view in my area late last year they updated it all so mine is fairly up to date. If I only we could somehow get our hands on LIVE satellite maps.
